Borevind AB shall invest in enterprises active within the field of renewable energy. Investments will be made in enterprises with a distinct and well advanced business process and good profitability aiming to give owners a positive return at low risk and simultaneously making Borevind a leading player in the market of readjusting production of energy to ecologically sustainable energy.
Business enterprise
Borevind shall be a strong actor in the environmental field, focused on renewable energy. The company shall be an investment company with minority shares in enterprises capable of development and in which the products are close to or have reached a market introduction expected to generate a positive cash flow.
Strategy
The strategy for becoming a strong investment company within renewable energy involves making use of the knowledge of the entrepreneurs in the companies. Through acquiring shares in the companies, Borevind ensures that the entrepreneurs remain within the companies. The acquisitions may be carried out using own shares as a method of payment, which means that Borevind’s capital requirements are reduced in such cases.
For the entrepreneur, a sale of part of their own company to Borevind means that it becomes part of a stronger company group and a part of a value chain within the energy sector that the company operates in. Synergies, in particular within technical development, production, marketing and distribution contribute to the company developing better than it would have done on it own. The Board participation can strengthen the company management. Borevind shall work according to a limited risk profile and aim for high growth potential and shall pursue an offensive and active dividend policy delivering the best possible return for the shareholders.
